I provide personal, honest tech help that comes to you. No tech-speak. No talking down to you. Just patient, careful help from someone who's been doing this for almost twenty years.
Common things I help with:
- Phones, tablets, and computers — setup, slowdowns, weird messages, that thing that just stopped working
- Printers, Wi-Fi, smart TVs, and "why won't this connect"
- Email, photos, passwords, and the apps your grandkids told you about
- Scam checks — "is this email/text/call real?"
- Patient explanations; I'll show you how, not just do it for you
- Almost anything else - just ask
How it works
1. You call, text, or email me.
We'll figure out what's going on, and I'll let you know if it's something I can help with.
2. I come to you.
We schedule a time that works for you. I show up on time, on my motorcycle — you can't miss me. I'll take a look, and either fix things on the spot or tell you honestly what it'll take.
3. I get things working — or I'm straight with you.
Most things I can fix on the first visit. If something needs more time or a specialist, I'll tell you honestly and won't charge you for what I couldn't do. If I can't help, I'll tell you that, too. No charge for honest advice.
Pricing
Fair pricing, quoted up front. No subscriptions. No surprise fees. No pressure to buy anything you don't need.
$50 / hour, with discounts for seniors and veterans.
First consult is always free.
Free trip within the local area. Small trip charge for longer drives — I'll tell you up front.

I serve Ocean County and the surrounding South Jersey area. I ride out on my motorcycle, Signal Seven — she's hard to miss. If you can see me at the curb, I can probably help.
Who I am
Hi — I'm Athena. I've been working in tech support for almost twenty years, including seven years doing in-home service with Geek Squad. I've helped people set up their first computers, recover photos they thought were lost, untangle home theater messes, and figure out whether that email asking for their bank info was a scam (it almost always is).
I started Curbside Tech because I wanted to do this work the way I always thought it should be done: small, local, patient, honest. No big corporate runaround. No upselling you on things you don't need. Just real help, from someone who lives nearby and cares about getting it right.
